Focus on Tendulkar, but big chance for young turks....

The Indian captain is not known to be a grumpy fellow. Neither is his counterpart from the West Indies. MS Dhoni, though, chooses his smiles like he picks the helicopter shot out of his armoury: Judiciously, whenever he can. Sammy, on the other hand, smiles all the time. When asked almost anything.

Can the Windies pacers spring a surprise? Big smile. Is this his biggest test as captain? Bigger smile. Is Tendulkar's impending '100th ton' milestone a distraction? A hearty chuckle follows a shake of the head. It's as if Sammy still can't believe he has to answer such questions on a daily basis.

Of course, it's likelier that the ever-present smile is merely Sammy's way of being himself. He may be a versatile cricketer but he is much more: he too is important for the future of this young West Indies side, like Dhoni is to India's.
